Someone on my f-list posted about winning a trip, and not being sure if they were going to keep it, because of the taxes that would need to be paid.

Now I've seen another post saying virtually the same thing.

And I'm worried it might be a scam. Please to be checking it out before giving anyone any tax money, please and thank you.

I have not-so-little crushes on Cory Monteith and Lea Michele. I loved Rachel and Finn straight from their first scenes in the pilot episode of Glee and since then they've done a ton of press and taken lots of pictures (of themselves, on Twitter) and it's just amazing, non-stop stuff to look at. I THINK CORY SEEMS LIKE HE HAS THE BEST PERSONALITY and I love Lea because baby angels shine out of her smile and voice. Seriously, look at her!

Lots of other people are compiling all the different pictures of the Glee kids but I decided that I wanted to put a lot of the Cory + Lea stuff in one place, they are too adorable for words and always sitting next to each other at events.

01. There are images of Lea and Cory together and by themselves or hanging out with the other Glee kids, and some pictures that they or the cast took of each other: Photos )

02. Video video video! They've done talk shows and radio and stuff. The View, Conan, more joint and solo interviews, blah blah )

03. This only tangentially relates to Cory and Lea but I am including because LOL

My God, this post is huge. I regret nothing.

Basically, my brain has kidnapped Noah Puckerman and decided he's secretly really angsty. This kind of just fell together as I started writing this story, so if you're into that kinda stuff, I'd say listen and read because while this was certainly inspired by the Puck of the show, I think it's even more applicable to the Puck of that fic. And be sure to let me know what you think! I have no shame and (not so) secretly revel in feedback.

Oh! And the Kings track should stop at 4:00. You can check to make sure by right clicking on the song in iTunes, selecting "Get Info," then go to "Options" and change the stop time. I should have included the shorter version, I know, but this was all I had. Sorry, dudes.

I'm about to do a big flist cut - but don't worry, I'll only remove those who haven't updated their journals in months. If you want to be added back because you're still active on here but simply don't update your journal anymore, please let me know. The same applies if you come back.

If you're gone for good, I still hope we can stay in touch somehow because I've known some of you for quite a while. And I wish each and every one of you all the best for your future; and I guess we'll always have Facebook.

I have just one comment to make regarding last night's episode of Californication...

BRB, DYING OF LOL FOREVER.

Fuck me, thank goodness for this show.  I literally choked from laughing.

(Also, this is my first ever .gif!  I feel stupidly proud that I actually figured out how to make one, not gonna lie. :D)

Glee. 2,417 words, title stolen from the classic Bob Dylan tune, as performed by one of my absolute favorite people. This chapter took quite a turn for the angsty? Somewhat unexpectedly because I was definitely planning on milking some of the light-hearted fun for a little longer, but oh well. Will try to be a bit more balanced in the following chapters! (Oh man, be pumped, shit’s totally going downnnn.) Again, thanks so much for all your enthusiasm about this; I haven't had the chance to properly sit down and reply to all your lovely comments, but I hope to soon!

bones.
pull it till it breaks (or, an assortment of moments collected among the living and the dead (but mostly the dead)). brennan, booth/brennan. rated pg. 2432 words. spoilers through season 3 (OLD SCHOOL!)

notes: oh boyyy. i don't even know. i was trying to study this afternoon, and instead this kept pouring out of me? basically, i've been watching season three lately, and basically i have this really huge problem that there is never any fallout from the whole karaoke club shoot-out, for lack of a better term, and i am sure 90% of fandom has already written about this, but whatever, this is my long-winded way of saying: i do what i want, haha.

I have this unicorn.

You see, when I started watching Friday Night Lights with my mom, she offhandedly mentioned how much she loved Kyle Chandler in some show about the forties she and Dad used to watch. My response was something like, "oh, Early Edition? I don't think that was about the forties, Mom", and then, idk, I guess we had to cry about whatever was happening in the episode so we dropped it. Still, the only TV shows I remember my parents ever watching when I was young are Seinfeld, Star Trek: the Next Generation, and that one show about Alaska whose name is escaping me at the moment, and those were all followed pretty spottily because we as a family were above serial fiction and the way it suspends consumers for profit (my Dad was in his full-on, twenty-something, pretentious douchey "hippie" phase), and so, eventually, I looked into it.

YOU GUYS, THIS IS AN ACTUAL SHOW:

I guess perhaps not everyone has grown up as enamored with the 1940s as I have, so maybe you don't quite understand that this silly little theme song has my inner obsessor full-on salivating (although this is perhaps also simply because it is a theme song: I LOVE DORKY THEME SONGS, you guys, and they are so unfortunately untrendy these days). ALL THE FAMILIAR FACES ARE SIMPLY ICING ON THE CAKE. There's also this... clip thing, which is so enjoyable it makes the whole thing worse.

Worse because in the age of amazon, netflix, youtube, hulu, and various other methods of procuring any television episode you want IT DOES NOT EXIST. It has disappeared into the abyss, spawning only this plea to Warner brothers to release a DVD set (IT ALSO HAS DELIGHTFUL CLIPS, THOUGH, YOU GUYS: COACH TAYLOR IS DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH AN ADORABLE GIRL! LILY VAN DER WOODSEN IS A BADASS) and a handful of disgruntled internet users, fussing about cancellation and how much money they would spend if such a DVD set did exist. Unfortunately I am now one of these fools. DAMN IT, just the teensy bit I have seen has me deeply in the throes of love. BUT I WILL SEE IT SOMEHOW. I WILL FIND THE DAMN UNICORN.

Ugh, I do not know what to request for Yuletide with Psych eliminated this year. BLERG.
